Sad Bear is part of Bearly Human, a larger body of work which is on-going. At the Moment he is discontent with our Politics.

Facial recognition series, raw clay and white glaze, aligsn with drawings of each face and expression. There are 12 in the series.
As humans we often project our feeling and emotions onto animals. this work plays with the idea of how we see animals.. As an artist I often choose to see people differently than they are. To me, animals are so much more beautiful than we are, so I choose to picture us like this. A playful series based on Bears and humans.
